French Lace (umbrella term) – Premium laces made in France, known for refined handle, intricate motifs, and timeless elegance (often Chantilly or Alençon).

Chantilly Lace – Ultra-fine, airy floral on soft net; romantic and lightweight—ideal for sleeves, illusion necklines, and veils.

Alençon (French Corded) Lace – Motifs outlined with a raised cord for definition; elegant structure—perfect for bodices, waistlines, and scalloped hems.

Guipure (Venise) Lace – Heavier, motif-to-motif design with no net background; bold couture look—great for statement trains, belts, and cut-out details.

Point d’Esprit / Swiss Dot – Sheer tulle scattered with tiny dots; soft, vintage feel—beautiful for overlays and playful sleeves.

Embroidered Tulle – Motifs stitched onto fine tulle; versatile density—works for breathable skirts and illusion backs.

Re-embroidered Lace – Extra stitching over lace motifs adds texture and depth; subtle dimension without heavy beading.

Beaded Lace – Hand-sewn crystals, pearls, or sequins; added sparkle—ideal for bodices, cuffs, and hemlines.

3D Floral Lace – Layered petals and appliqués create couture dimension—perfect for modern romantic skirts, capes, and veils.

Stretch Lace – Lace with gentle elastane for comfort and movement—great for fitted silhouettes and sleeves.

Eyelash Lace Trim – Soft, fringed scallops along the edge—finishes necklines, sleeves, and veils with a delicate touch.

Silk Mikado – A structured, lustrous silk blend with a subtle sheen, ideal for ball gowns, A-line skirts, and modern silhouettes that require crisp volume.

Duchess Satin – Smooth and luxurious with a soft glow, perfect for classic bridal looks with tailored bodices and flowing skirts.

Crepe – Lightweight with a gentle stretch and matte finish, giving a sleek, body-skimming fit that flatters both modern and romantic designs.

Organza – Sheer yet voluminous, adding airy movement and layering without weight, often used for overskirts, sleeves, or delicate details.

Chiffon – Fluid, light, and ethereal, perfect for beach weddings, destination gowns, and flowy bohemian-inspired looks.

Tulle – Soft or structured netting that creates dreamy volume; available in multiple weights for veils, skirts, or layered gowns.

Charmeuse – Silky with a high shine and liquid drape, offering a glamorous, form-fitting look for bias-cut gowns.

Measurement Guide for Custom Wedding Dresses

Please use a soft measuring tape and measure over undergarments similar to those you’ll wear on your wedding day. Stand straight with your feet together. Ask a friend, family member, or tailor to assist for best accuracy.

    Key Measurements:

    Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Do not pull too tight; the tape should sit comfortably.

    Waist

Measure around the natural waistline (the narrowest part, usually an inch above your belly button).

Keep the tape snug but not tight.

    Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

This is usually 7–9 inches below the waist.

    Shoulder Width

Measure straight across the back from the edge of one shoulder to the other.

    Hollow to Hem

Measure from the hollow at the base of your neck (collarbone) down to the floor.

Stand straight in wedding shoes or shoes of similar height.

    Sleeve Length (if applicable)

With your arm slightly bent, measure from the top of the shoulder down along the arm to the desired cuff length.

    Bicep Circumference (if applicable)

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.

Center Front / Center Back (for fitted bodices)

Center Front: Measure from the hollow of your neck down to your waistline.

Center Back: Measure from the base of your neck down to your waistline.
